How does FindOpen work?
With the help of FindOpen, you can search for open businesses near you. Type in a business name or a keyword, as well as a location, and click on 'Search'. Then you can choose the business that best fits your needs from the list of results.
Do I need to pay to use FindOpen?
FindOpen is absolutely free of charge.
Where did you get my company details from? I have never registered on your website.
Your company's details were provided by our partner, the Cylex Local Search. You have the right to change these details anytime necessary. By managing your Cylex presentation page, you will also manage the listing your company has on FindOpen. Every modification you make on your Cylex page will be online on FindOpen as well.
How do I add my company to your website?
In order for your business to appear on FindOpen, please register it first to the Cylex Local Search, which is our partner company. Go to their homepage: www.cylex.ca , select the 'Register' option from the upper right corner of the page, click on the 'Register' button from the business directory section and follow the steps given. After your registration is completed, your company will automatically appear on Find Open as well. Please keep in mind, that you have to add your opening hours and choose a business category, because without these your company cannot appear on Find Open.
I found my company's details on your website, but they are incorrect. How can I update them?
Please first click on the 'Report incorrect information' button, from the upper right part of the listing, to correct the details. If you are the owner or an employee of the company, choose the 'Report incorrect data' option. You will be redirected to your Cylex presentation page and you will have to fill in the correct info. After your changes/modifications are verified and approved, they will also be visible on FindOpen. In case you are a customer, or you just know the company, and saw that the info is not accurate, please click on 'Contact us' and send us a notification.
Can I have a FindOpen listing without displaying my opening hours?
No, FindOpen listings are created automatically upon registration on Cylex Local Search once you have filled in your Opening Hours field. Please note that if you delete your opening hours from your Cylex listing, your FindOpen page will be automatically deleted in its entirety within 3 months. If your opening hours are irregular, you may list them under “Appointments” and still keep your FindOpen listing active. Also, you may use the Special Opening Hours tab in your Cylex dashboard to enter special hours in advance for the days when your business has an irregular schedule, like holidays or special events.
